Clayton Eugene Arnold

Clayton Arnold, well-known Blair man who has been a staff member at the ASC office in Blair for a number of years, died suddenly Sunday at Colorado Springs, Colorado. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold were enjoying a vacation trip and he suffered a heart attack.

The deceased was born at Blair, April 11, 1927 and was 44 years of age at the time of his death. The Arnolds built a new home on an acreage northwest of Blair several years ago and this was their home. He is survived by his wife, Betty and by three children, Frances, Eugene and Susan, all of whom are at home.

He was a member of the Armed Forces in World War II.

He is also survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Arnold who farm west of Blair. A brother, Robert Arnold and a sister, Mrs. janet Loftis, reside at Herman.

Funeral services are being held today at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church. Father Daniel Brick is conducting the service and the Campbell Mortuary is directing interment in the Holy Cross Cemetery at Blair.

Pallbearers are Ray G. Jensen, Ed Vogel, Art Nelson, Art Vercruysse, Howard Kay, Warren Wakefield and Gene Salsbury.
