MAGDALENA GOOD DIES AT 85

Magdalena Rupp Good was born in Canada in the year of 1852, and died in Blair November 27th, 1937 at the age of 85 years, 7 months and 16 days. She passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Hans Larsen. She had made her home with her daughter and son, Menno Good.

From Canada she moved to Illinois with her parents, and there was united in marriage to Chris Good who preceded her in death. From Illinois they moved to Nebraska, took a homestead among other pioneers, settling in Knox county, Nebraska. In 1895 they moved to Blair where she has since made her home.

To this union were born two sons and one daughter. One son, Chris, preceded her in death in 1930. Mrs. Hans Larsen and Menno Good, both of Blair, remain to mourn the death of a beloved mother.

She had seven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Funeral services were held at the home at 2 p.m. and at Campbell’s Mortuary at 2:30 on Monday afternoon, November 29th with the Rev. Ralph P. Rasmussen officiating.

Interment was made in the Blair cemetery.
