The Rev. Ralph P. Rasmussen conducted the funeral services for Henry Lallman who died at his home here on Thursday morning from a lingering illness which made him bedfast only a few days. Mr. Lallman was born near Fontanelle on October 17, 1868, and was the elder son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lallman, Sr., who were among the early settlers who homesteaded here. About 29 years ago he was married to Mrs. Jesse Ely at Fremont, and the couple resided in town most of that time.

Mrs. Alvin Anderson and Miss Marion Menking, accompanied on the piano by Mrs. Clifford Decker, sang two solos. Interment was made in the Arlington cemetery.

Surviving are three children: Alvin of Arlington; Mrs. Esther Abrogast and two step daughters, Mrs. Candace Abrogast of Burley and Mrs. Nick Rees of Arlington; seven grandchildren, also surviving are four brothers and one sister: Edward of Fremont; Fred and Herman of Grand Junction, Colorado; William of Arlington and Amanda Lallman of Grand Junction. All of the relatives, with the exception of Mrs. Candace Abrogast, came for the funeral services and returned to their homes the first of the week.

HENRY LALLMAN, ARLINGTON, DIES

FUNERAL SERVICES HELD SUNDAY FOR LIFELONG COUNTIAN, 68

Henry Lallman, 68, native and lifelong resident of Washington County, died last Thursday at his home on the outskirts of Arlington following a long illness. He had been in poor health for the past ten years, although his illness had confined him to bed only a few days before he died.

He was born October 17, 1868, on the old Lallman homestead near Fontanelle, now occupied by Gottlieb Echtenkamp, but for the past 30 years had lived at the edge of Arlington.

Mrs. Lallman died several years ago. Mr. Lallman is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Esther Abrogast of Burley, Idaho, and two sons, Alvin of Arlington and Donald of Burley. Also surviving are two step-daughters, Mrs. Candace Abrogast of Burley and Mrs. Charlotte Rees of Arlington; three brothers, Ed of Fontanelle and Fred and Herman of Grand Junction, Colorado; and one sister, Amanda Lallman of Grand Junction.

He was buried in Arlington cemetery Sunday afternoon following funeral services at the Methodist church in Arlington, at which the Rev. Ralph P. Rasmussen officiated.
