FORMER ARLINGTON RESIDENT DIES

P. De Witt, Former Arlington Man Dies at Spener, Nebraska

Word was received in Arlington Sunday morning of the sudden death of Paul De Witt, a former Arlington resident, at his home in Spencer, Nebraska.

A member of a pioneer Nebraska family, Mr. De Witt was born at Neligh, and was married to Miss Emma Gardener of that place. After his marriage, he moved to Omaha where he taught in Boyles Business college for a number of years, coming from there to Arlington about 25 years ago. During his residence here he was employed as telegrapher in the Chicago & Northwestern office. Since leaving Arlington about 11 years ago, the family has resided at Nickerson, Lynch, Dallas, South Dakota and Spencer.

Mr. De Witt is survived by his wife, four daughters, Mrs. Victor Novacek and Mrs. Cecil Nutt of California and Hazel and Helen of Spencer; two brothers, Joseph De Witt of Omaha and Charles De Witt of Nickerson; his mother, Mrs. De Witt of Omaha and two grandchildren in California.
