HIME GIBSON DIES IN CALIFORNIA

Hime Gibson, who left Blair about eleven or twelve years ago to enter the moving picture business with his son, Hoot Gibson, died May 27 according to a dispatch received last week by Blair friends.

Mr. Gibson lived for a long term of years at Tekamah where Hoot grew to manhood. Later, after the son had become famous as a screen celebrity, the father moved to Blair where for a term of years he was in the employ of P.Z. Wilson.

After going to California, Hime appeared in a number of pictures, and then took charge of a ranch owned by Hoot where he lived for a number of years. At his death, he was in business for himself.

Note: The Vig Files at the Danish American Archives and census records have his name recorded as Hiram J. He is the son of George W. and Hannah "Anna". No burial records were located.
