INFANT SON OF MR., MRS. B. REEH DIES

The three day old infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Bennard Reeh, born at Court View hospital Monday afternoon, died this Thursday morning following an internal hemorrhage. When the child became ill Wednesday morning, a child specialist was called from Omaha, and four blood transfusions were given the infant, the father furnishing the blood.

The infant was to have been christened Jerome William. The Reehs have one other child, Sue Marguerite, age 2 1/2 years.

Funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the home of Mrs. Reeh’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Foley on East Colfax street, with Rev. William J. Borer of Tekamah officiating. Burial will be in the Blair cemetery.

REEH INFANT SUCCUMBS TODAY

BRIEF RITES THIS AFTERNOON FOR 3-DAY-OLD SON OF BEN REEH

The three-day-old infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Bennard Reeh died at 6 a.m. today at Court View Hospital, after becoming ill yesterday. Born Monday afternoon, the baby was to have been christened Jerome William.

Mr. Reeh had submitted to two blood transfusions in an effort to save the baby’s life.

The body was taken to Campbell’s Mortuary. Brief Catholic services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at the home of its grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Foley, and interment will follow in Holy Cross cemetery here.

Surviving the baby are its parents, a sister, Sue, aged 2 ½, and its grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Foley and Mr. and Mrs. Reeh.
