Tim H. Widener, 38, of Herman, died Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011, in Blair.

Funeral services were Saturday, Sept. 10, at First Lutheran Church in Blair. Interment was in the Herman Cemetery.

Tim H. Widener was born Nov. 24, 1972, at Torrence, Calif., to Kenneth and Shari (Meyer) Widener. He graduated from Tekamah-Herman High School and attended Northeast Community College at Norfolk, receiving a degree in construction engineering. He worked at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair in the maintenance department for 10 years. One of his hobbies was woodworking, and he loved to garden.

He married Shelly Wesemann on Jan. 5, 2007, in Blair.

He is survived by his wife, Shelly; children, Randy and Jessica Widener, and Andrew Ragan; mother, Shari Widener, grandparents, Don and Reta Meyer, and sister and brother-in-law, Jill and husband Dave Bitter, all of Tekamah; father and mother-in-law, Jerry and Patty Wesemann of Arlington; brother-in-law, Scott Wesemann of Omaha; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
