MRS. ANNA GOESLING RITES

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Goesling were held from the Fred Walkenhorst home at Arlington on Wednesday afternoon with the Rev. W. J. Goemmel of the Fontanelle church officiating.

Mrs. Goesling as Anna Matilda Krallman, was born June 23, 1862 in Quincy, Ill., and died on March 14 at the King’s Daughters hospital in Perry, Iowa where she was taken from her home with Mrs. Leslie Lee, with whom she lived.

She came to Nebraska forty eight years ago, and lived on the Sprick farm northwest of Arlington. She and her husband moved from there for Arlington where they resided until Mrs. Goesling’s death 19 years ago, and since then she has made her home with her children, living the past two years with her daughter, Mrs. Leslie Lee at Perry, Iowa.

She is survived by five children, F. W. Gosling, Mrs. John Walkenhorst and Mrs. Fred Walkenhorst, all of Arlington; Mrs. Leslie Lee and Mrs. Harry Pepmiller, both of Perry, Iowa; also 16 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

The pallbearers were her grandsons and were Elmer, Raymond and Harold Walkenhorst, Allen Goesling, Donald Walkenhorst and Kenneth Pepmiller.

Among the close relatives from out of town who attended the services were Mrs. Leslie Lee and son and Mrs. Harry Pepmiller and son, all from Perry, Iowa; Mrs. H. C. Parker of Omaha, Raymond and Elmer Walkenhorst also of Omaha.
