FORMER COUNTIAN ACCIDENT VICTIM

Funeral services for Earl Christensen of Elk City, who was killed in an accident at Valley on Friday morning when the Portland Rose, a Union Pacific train, struck his car which was stalled on the track, was held on Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Elk City church.

Mr. Christensen, a son of Mrs. and Mrs. Peter J. Christensen, formerly of Kennard vicinity, and had lived in Elk City for the past 12 years.

Besides his wife, 10 year old daughter, Frances, he is survived by his father of Elk City; two sisters, Mrs. Louis Gottsch and Miss Alvina Christensen, both of Elk City; and a brother, Elmer Christensen of Bennington.
