NELS ANDERSEN DIED TUESDAY

Nels Andersen, 82 years of age, a resident of the southern part of the county, passed away last Tuesday. Deceased was born in Denmark and came to this county when a young man.

Through industry and thrift he amassed a comfortable fortune, and at his death was one of the largest land holders of the county.

He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Adolph Nelsen and Mrs. Peter Olsen and three sons, Andrew, Jens L. and Sophus, all residents of this county and living in the vicinity of Washington.

The funeral, conducted by C.K. Bender and with Rev. James Lund officiating, will be held at the Washington community church tomorrow, Friday, at 2 p.m., and interment will be made in the Prairie View cemetery.
