PAUL BRODERSON DIED NOV. 14TH

Paul Christian Broderson, farmer residing near Spiker, passed away at 11:40 p.m. last Sunday, November 14th, following a long illness which culminated in a paralytic stroke.

Deceased was born in Denmark on June 2nd, 1871, and came to America at the age of nine years, in company with a sister and a brother.

On August 26th, 1896 he was married to Miss Annie Anderson, and to this union three daughters were born, Mrs. Hans Mathieson of Herman; Mrs. Emerald Van Beek and Mrs. Jens Keogh, both of blair. These, with the wife and two sisters, Mrs. Lena Nelson of Blair and Mrs. Johanna Cook of Hot Springs, Arkansas; and one brother, Amos of Hastings, Nebraska; and other relatives, survive and mourn his death deeply.

The funeral services were held Wednesday, November 17th at 2 p.m. from the Bendorf Funeral Home, with Rev. Ralph P. Rasmussen officiating, and interment was made in the Orum cemetery.
