Deceased was born and reared in the same vicinity in which he died, and was well known for his farming activities and his upright, manly dealings with his fellow man.

Around thirty eight years ago he was married to Helena Paulsen, and after residing on the farm for a number of years, they moved to Fremont where they lived for thirteen years. They returned to the farm six years ago, and have since made that their home.

He leaves to mourn him, besides the wife, three daughters and one son, Myrtie Fagerquist of Valley, Nebraska; Gertrude Moyer of North Bend, Nebraska; Rosa May Larsen of Colorado Springs and Earl Toft of Colorado Springs.

The funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the home and at 2:30 from the Danish Evangelical Lutheran church at Orum, with Rev. Knud Larsen of Rosalie, Nebraska officiating, and interment was made in the Orum cemetery.

Besides the wife and children, two half brothers, J. T. Nelson and Chris Nelson, and a sister, Mrs. Henry Block of Lewellyn, Nebraska, all of whom survive and join with the family in their great bereavement.
