MRS. K. JOHNSON DIES AT 94 YEARS

Mrs. Karoline Johnson of Herman died last Thursday, November 8th, at the Blair Hospital where she had been taken some time before, suffering from a broken hip.

At her death she was 94 years and 3 months old. She was a native of Sweden, coming to this country when a young woman. Her maiden name was Johnson. She was married twice, and both times she retained the name of Johnson.

She was the mother of three children - one son and two daughters - and these, with nineteen grandchildren, mourn her departure, and with a number of friends will miss her greatly. She was a woman of remarkable ability, capable mentally and physically and with a will to live the right kind of life.

During her twenty two years as a resident of Herman, she affiliated with the Methodist church, although she had been confirmed in the Lutheran faith when she was a girl.

Funeral services were held at the Herman Methodist church last Sunday afternoon with Rev. A. W. Clarke of Arlington officiating, and interment was made in the Herman cemetery.
