Dale D. Anderson, 87 years, of Uehling, NE passed away Thursday, January 9, 2020 at the Lancaster Rehabilitation Center in Lincoln, NE.

Dale was born December 18, 1932 to Ivar and Minnie (Larson) Anderson in Uehling, NE. He graduated from Uehling High School. After high school, he served in the U. S. Navy from April 12, 1951 to March 31, 1955. On May 4, 1958, he married Sharon Gottsch at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bennington, NE. In 1976, the couple moved to Uehling. He was a self- employed carpenter and manager of Hinky Dinky in Omaha.

Dale was a member of the Uehling Fire Department and Rescue, Lions Club, American Legion, and the Congregational Church all Uehling, NE.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Stanley Anderson.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon of 61 years; daughter, Kathleen Anderson; son, Michael (Yvonne) Anderson; sister, Norma Moseman; brother, Einar (Kay) Anderson; 8 grandchildren, Jon (Joanna), Jordan, Jace, Jocelyn, Grant, Serena, Alonzo, and Gavin; and 1 great grandchild, Paxton.

Funeral service will be 11 A.M., Friday, January 17, 2020 at the Uehling Auditorium in Uehling, NE. Paul Howard will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont, NE. Visitation will continue 1 hour prior to the service on Friday at Uehling. Burial will be at the Uehling Baptist Cemetery near Uehling, NE with military honors.

Memorials may be directed to the Uehling Fire and Rescue Departments.
