#1 Joe Fryman, Jr.

Services for Joseph Fryman, Jr., 79, of Blair, who died Tuesday, November 18, 1986, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair, will be held Friday, November 21, at First Lutheran Church in Blair, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Carl Schattauer will officiate and burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Fryman was born July 15, 1907, the son of Joseph, Sr., and Annie Fryman of Blair.

He attended Cuming City School and graduated from Blair High School in 1927.

On November 19, 1932, he married Olga Schriefer of Blair.

Fryman was a lifelong Washington County farmer. He was also interested in music and entertained with Early Thompson in area nursing homes.

Survivors include his wife; daughters and son-in-laws: Dr. and Mrs. (Joan) John L. Greene of Omaha, and Mr. and Mrs. (Shirley) Nyberg of Loomis; one son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Fryman IV; and seven grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents and an infant daughter, Joyce Ann.

Pallbearers will be Bob Baker, Tage Christensen, Early Thompson, Bob Arnold, Wade Nyberg, Brett Nyberg and Dr. George Greene.

Organist will be Clare Cowing.

Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
