Vida Belle Archer Clark was born on March 25, 1931, in Moville, Iowa, to John and Grace (Hall) Perrin. She entered into rest, surrounded by her family, at her home in Oakland, Nebraska, on November 14, 2019, at the age of 88.

After graduating from high school in Castana, Iowa, she attended Wayne State College and then taught country school north of Lyons, Nebraska.

On January 19, 1952, she was united into marriage with Dwight W. Archer in South Sioux City, Nebraska. To this union were born four children: Beverly, Joyce, Nancy and Donnie. Dwight passed away on February 8, 1978.

After raising her family, she returned to work at Goldenrod Hills CAC, where she was Weatherization Director and was instrumental in organizing Toys for Tots in northeast Nebraska. Throughout her life, she enjoyed her flowers in her garden, cooking and, most of all, her grandchildren.

On January 24, 1988, she was united in marriage to Jerry Clark. With this marriage, she gained two stepchildren, Mike and Connie Clark.

She was preceded in in death by her husband, Dwight; parents; three sisters, Darlene Carbaugh, Beula Millard and Lila Perrin; great grandson, Jacob Bull; stepson Mike Clark.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry of Oakland; three daughters, Beverly (Leonard) Morgan of Sergeant Bluff, IA, Joyce (Rodney) Storm of Blair, NE, Nancy (Roger) Anderson of Walthill, NE, son, Donnie (Lori) Archer of Bancroft, NE; stepdaughter, Connie Clark (Don Hickey) of Wayne, NE; 17 grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson.
