ED DURANT DIES IN QUINCY, ILLINOIS

Ed Durant, for many years in the ice business as a partner of William McKeen, died in The Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois last week, and the remains were taken to Chicago for burial.

Deceased was the son of Dr. and Mrs. Joseph Durant, who settled in Quincy when he was but a small boy. Ed came west when a young man and settled in Blair where he went into business with William McKeen. After McKeen’s death, he married the widow, Mrs. Cora Parrish McKeen, and they resided here until her death.

After her death, Durant returned to his hometown, Quincy, where he resided until his death. He is survived by a niece in North Hollywood, California, and a nephew in Wilmington, Delaware.
