MARY ANDERSON RITES TUESDAY

Miss Mary Anderson, a native of this county, died Saturday, September 1st in the Dodge County Hospital at Fremont. Her death followed a long illness. She was the daughter of the late Carl and Christina Anderson, early settlers of this county.

Miss Mary was the last of the family except one to die. Miss Eva Anderson, a sister, survives and still lives on the old home farm in the Rose Hill neighborhood where the family was reared.

For a number of years a brother, Edward, and the two sisters lived on the old farm, but about nine months ago the brother died, and now one of the sisters have gone, leaving Miss Eva as the last of the family.

Deceased was born April 11, 1877, and with the exception of a short time, had lived her entire life on the old home farm. She was educated in the schools of the county and was a woman of deep convictions.

She was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance, and she lived true to her conceptions of her Christian duty.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon from the Bendorf Funeral Home, and interment was made in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
