E. CLAYTON VAN VALIN DIES IN IOWA

Charles Van Valin, custodian at the Court House in Blair, received word of the death of his brother, Emerson Clayton Van Valin, who died in a hospital in College Springs, Iowa on August 24th. He was 65 years of age.

Deceased is survived by his widow and two daughters; also seven grandchildren. A son was killed in action in Italy.

In attendance at the funeral were Charles Van Valin of Blair and a sister, Mrs. Bertha Patrick of Marshall, Minnesota.
