MRS. M. CHRISTENSEN BURIED SUNDAY

Mrs. Morris Christensen passed away on August 9th in her home west of Herman where she was born and where she had lived her entire life. She had been in poor health for several years. The daughter of Niels and Cathrine Pedersen, she was born on March 20, 1889.

Deceased was preceded in death by her father and mother and by three brothers, Albert, Walter and Fred Pedersen. Surviving to mourn her passing are her husband, Morris Christensen; a daughter, Hazel; three sons, Clarence, Dean and Glenn; three sisters, Mrs. Albert Christensen of Little Falls, Minnesota; Mrs. Walter Wachter of Rosalie, Nebraska; and Mrs. Peter Andersen of Herman, Nebraska; and two brothers, Henry and Nels Pedersen of Blair, and a number of nieces and nephews.

The funeral service was held in the home just east of Brodersen School on Sunday afternoon, August 12th, with the Bendorf Mortuary in charge, Rev. H. C. Jorgensen officiating at the service, and Tom and Ruth Blanchard providing the music. Burial was made in the Blair Cemetery.
