MRS. F. SCHOETTGER DIES IN FREMONT

Mrs. Frank H. Schoettger died Wednesday afternoon, August 8th, 1945 at two o’clock in the Dodge County Hospital in Fremont.

Mrs. Schoettger, as Lena F. Kruger, was born at Fontanelle on August 16, 1868. On December 6, 1893 she was married to Frank H. Schoettger in a double wedding ceremony, at which time her sister, Miss Emma Kruger also was married to Charles Laaker.

Deceased spent her entire married life on the old Schoettger homestead at Fontanelle. Two children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Schoettger, both of whom died in infancy.

The Schoettgers celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary two years ago.

Besides the bereaved husband, Mrs. Schoettger leaves her sister, Mrs. Charles Laaker, to mourn her passing.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock at the old homestead in Fontanelle, and at two o’clock p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran church north of Arlington with the Rev. Carl Hellmann officiating.
