Mrs. Martha R. Richards, age 63, passed away on Monday at the Dodge County Memorial Hospital where she was taken a week ago. Mrs. Richards was brought here a few weeks ago by her daughter-in-law, Mrs. John R. Richards, who had been caring for her in Chicago. She had been in poor health for the past three years, and had been a resident of California for a number of years. Mrs. Richards is survived by an only son, John R. Richards, now employed in Chicago; four grandchildren, James M., John R., Jr., Charles Winston and Martha Jean, all of this place; two sisters, Mrs. Annaline of Cornwallis, Oregon and Mrs. Ann Rogers of Portland, Oregon; also two brothers, John A. Hunter of Chattanooga, Tennessee; and Sam of Tacoma, Washington. Private funeral services will be held at the Reckmeyer Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Elliott in charge, and are tentatively set for Thursday afternoon pending word from the son in Chicago.
