BERNICE MOORE RITES SUNDAY

Bernice Moore, daughter of John Moore, passed away at Booth’s Memorial Hospital in Omaha on Thursday evening, June 21st, following an illness of several months’ duration.

Deceased was born in Blair on Dec. 15, 1892, and lived in Blair her entire life, and in the same house where she was born. She attended the Blair Schools and also Dana College for three years. Her mother died some years ago, and since that time she has kept house for her father.

She was the eldest of three children, Mrs. Harry Burger and Farabee Moore being the sister and brother who, with the father, survive her.

Funeral services were held last Sunday at 2:30 p.m. from the Baptist Church of which she was a life-long member and a constant attendant, with Rev. D. D. Kennedy officiating, and interment was made in the Blair cemetery.

The following out-of-town guests were present at the ceremony: Mr. and Mrs. Harry Edelman and Mrs. William Faber of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Mrs. Iva Andersen and Miss Belle and Fred Finalyson of Sioux City, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Elton Dickenson, Plainview, Nebraska; Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Sloan and daughter, Mrs. W. J. McCann and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Burger, and Mr. and Mrs. Farabee Moore, all of Omaha.
