ANNA MARY GRABBE IS DEATH VICTIM

Miss Anna Mary Grabbe was born on the farm southwest of Blair on July 9, 1873, and passed away on May 10, 1945 at the age of 71 years, 10 months and 1 day.

The family moved to Blair soon after her birth, and she attended the Blair schools until she was eleven years of age when she suffered a severe attack of typhoid fever followed by a stroke which left her a cripple for life.

Soon after this the family returned to the farm where she lived until 1925 when she was taken to the Beatrice Home where she died.

Miss Grabbe is survived by two brothers, Fred of Herman and Henry of Blair, who did everything possible to make her comfortable.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon from the Bendorf Funeral Home with Rev. R. Cecil Davis, pastor of the local Christian church, giving the funeral discourse, and interment was made in the Blair cemetery.
