MRS. GUY COOK FUNERAL RITES MON.

Mrs. Guy Cook, following a long and painful illness, passed away on Friday, May 11th, at her home on South Street.

As Nellie Gilbertson, she was born on August 11, 1883 on a farm near Spiker. Here she spent her girlhood days and received her early education in the rural school.

On December 25th, 1907 she was united in marriage to Guy Cook, the ceremony being performed in Blair where they later made their home. To them two children born, Kirby, now of Kansas City, Missouri and Donald of Omaha.

Mrs. Cook was a consistent member of the Methodist church, and was held in high esteem by the members of her church and the many friends who came to know her.

Besides the husband and two sons, she is survived by two brothers, Ed and Blair and Fred of Omaha; and three sisters, Mrs. John Trainer of Cairo West Virginia; Mrs. Charles Doffer of Milford, Nebraska; and Mrs. H. B. Marshall of Burnsville, West Virginia; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon from the Bendorf Funeral Home with Rev. Sidney L. McCaig officiating, and interment was mad win the Blair cemetery.
