MRS. ELLEN ELLIS DIED MAY 2ND

Ellen Elizabeth Ellis, daughter of William and Lydia Buck, was born July 31, 1860 in Sullivan County, Missouri, and passed away on May 2, 1945 at the home of a daughter with whom she lived, at the age of 84 years, 9 months and 1 day.

When a small child, she came with her parents to Nebraska, locating east and north of Tekamah.

On July 26, 1873 she was united in marriage to George F. Ellis. To this union five children were born. One son, Charles, passed on December 29, 1898.

Deceased is survived by three daughters and one son - Mrs. B. P. Davis of Tekamah, Mrs. Carl Franssen and Mrs. A. L. Franssen of Blair, and Ted Ellis of Kimball; three grandchildren, Ross Davis of Blair, Mrs. C. A. Nelson of Oakland and Carroll Davis of Tekamah; also four great grandchildren, and a host of friends. Mr. Ellis preceded her in death on July 18, 1925.

Mrs. Ellis was a member of the Woodmen Circle Lodge in Tekamah.

Burial was made in the Herman cemetery.
