Funeral services were held this morning (Monday) for Miss Anna C. Fuess, of Herman who died at Memorial Community Hospital last Thursday. She was 78 years old.

Miss Fuess was born in Illinois March 16, 1882, and came to Nebraska and Herman a number of years ago.

She is survived by a sister, Laura Wachter and a brother, Walter Wachter.

Funeral services were held at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair with the Rev. Edward O’Donnel conducting the services. Burial, under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary, was at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Weston Long of Blair, Jack Wachter, Herman, Floyd Ackerman, Herman, Gunnar Nelson of Rosalie, Richard Wachter, Jackson, Nebraska, and Roland Wachter, Hubbard, Nebraska.
