Born October 7, 1965 Fortuna, California ~ Died September 16, 2011 Omaha, Nebraska

“Consider the lilies of the field. They neither toil nor spin…” Mt 6:27 Jesus’ words come to mind when reflecting on Ted’s life—except Ted loved to toil and spin. In this spirit we celebrate Ted Bansen’s life.

We delight in remembering Ted’s
-looking on all of creation as a gift
-sharing his knowledge and insights about nature and the outpouring of earth’s bounty
-taking time to smell the roses and herbs and new mown grass
-tasting and savoring the fruits of Earth
-tending the responsibilities given him and touching with care his work and the people in his life
-walking faithfully the Way and carrying his cross with dignity.

We love the Ted of
-Tommysberryfarm and goats to go
-free range chickens, the milk cow and Lou, the Great Pyrenees
-hay baling and organic farming
-grounds keeping and the bee keeper—he knew their secrets.
