MRS. IDA M. BARNHART DIES IN MICH.

A telegram brought the sad news of the death of a sister, residing in Three Rivers, Michigan, to John A. Rhodes.

Ida May Rhoades was born in Aitchison County, Missouri, and when still an infant, the family moved to Iowa and in 1879 the family again moved to Blair. Here she was reared to womanhood and was educated in the Blair schools.

She was married to William Barnhart, and a few years after their marriage they moved to Benton Harbor, Michigan, where they farmed for a number of years.

When Tripp County, South Dakota was opened for homesteading, they went there and for about twenty years they resided on the homestead. After the death of her husband, she made her home with a widowed son and was a mother to his young daughters. During this time they resided in Chicago. Later they purchased a farm at Three Rivers, Michigan, and here she made her home until her death last Thursday. Funeral rites were held last Monday.

Deceased was one of a family of six children and the fourth to pass on leaving John A. in Blair and Mrs. Fred Oliver in Philadelphia.
