EVERETT TYSON AND PETER M. TYSON DIE BUT FEW HOURS APART

Popular Electrician’s Death Is Shock To The Community

Marshall Everett Tyson died suddenly Wednesday evening at his home on West Grant Street, apparently from a heart attack. It is reported that on his way home his car stalled in a snow drift, and he attempted to shovel it out but failed and walked home and collapsed soon after his arrival.

Everett Tyson, as we all know him, will be missed in Blair. His occupation as an electrician took him into every home in the town and a large part of the county. His genial disposition and his honesty in his work made him friends wherever he went. He was perhaps the best known character in Blair and every household will miss him.

Deceased was born April 19, 1869 on a farm north of Blair where he grew to manhood. He was married to Adeline Badgerow on December 18, 1895 at Blair. They at once took up farming, moving to the farm where he was born, where they lived until 1902 when they moved to Blair and he engaged in the electrical business which he followed until his death.

Deceased leaves, besides the wife, the children, Mrs. W. W. Pfautz of Hutchison, Kansas; Marshall of Omaha; Willard of Gary, Indiana; Major L. Everette of Salt Lake City, Utah; and Mrs. J. S. Maurer at home. One sister, Mrs. E. B. Redfield, and nine grandchildren also survive.

He was a member of the Blair Fire Department until he was retired some years ago, and a member of the Methodist Church.

Arrangements are not completed, but the funeral will probably be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Methodist church with Rev. Sidney L. McCaig officiating.
