HARRY THIELFOLDT, LEONA THIELFOLDT

Harry Thielfoldt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Thielfoldt, was born on April 4, 1904 at Vacoma, this county, where he was reared and where the greater part of his life was spent. He was educated in the Vacoma district schools.

On February 28, 1933 he was married to Miss Leona Larsen of Blair, and the couple moved to a farm near Winslow where they lived for ten years, and then came to Blair. The past few months they have lived on the old John Newell forty five acre farm west of Blair.

Mr. Thielfoldt’s father died in 1924, and after a number of years the mother moved to Blair where she now resides. The mother, two sisters and three brothers survive him. The sisters are Mrs. Nela Lindberg of Blair and Mrs. Nels Svendgaard of Arlington; the brothers are John, Charles and Eddie.

Mrs. Thielfoldt, formerly Leona Dorothy Larsen, was born in Blair on February 22, 1910, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jens Larsen. She was reared in Blair and graduated from the Blair High School in 1928. since her marriage in 1933 her life was been as one with her husband. She leaves her mother, who is grief-stricken over the tragic death as was related in the last issue of The Enterprise. The couple chose a double suicide pact to end their earthly existence. As yet, no reason for the act has been ascertained.

Double funeral services were held on January 5th at the First Lutheran church with Rev. H. C. Jorgensen officiating, and interment was made in the Orum cemetery.
