MRS. F. DICKMEYER FUNERAL RITES MON.

Mrs. Fred Dickmeyer, formerly Miss Bertha McMillan, died last Saturday in the Dodge County Hospital where she had been taken for treatment some time before.

Deceased was a native of Blair, and was born on March 16, 1886. Her entire life was spent in Blair and vicinity. When a child she attended the Blair Schools, and when she grew to maturity she clerked in the Sas Bros. Store for a period of seventeen years. Here she met her husband, and on October 23, 1920 they were wed in Oakland.

After their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Dickmeyer went to the former’s farm west of Blair where they have since resided.

Survivors of the deceased are her husband, Fred Dickmeyer, and two sisters, Mrs. Bess Hollaway of Los Angeles, California and Miss Agnes McMillan of Blair, besides a number of nieces and nephews.

The funeral services were held on Monday afternoon, January 15th, at the Bendorf funeral Home in Blair with Rev. D. D. Kennedy officiating, and interment was made in the Blair cemetery.

Deceased was a member of one of the early families of Blair, and her passing grieves not only her immediate family, but an exceptionally large circle of friends.
