ORVIN KUHLS DIED ON JANUARY 12TH

Orvin Kuhls, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kuhls of Herman, passed away on January 12th in an Omaha hospital following a spinal operation which he had undergone the preceding Monday.

Deceased was born August 10th, 1909, and spent most of his life near Herman. He was married to Miss Dorothy Krohn in 1940, and to them a son, Virgil, was born.

Mr. Kuhls leaves to mourn his passing besides his widow and son, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kuhls; two brothers, Paul and Walter; and three sisters, Mrs. Lewis Bartling and Misses Esther and Viola Kuhls, all of Herman.

Funeral services were held at the Immanuel Lutheran church, Hooper, on Tuesday, January 16th, with burial in the church cemetery.

Mr. Kuhls was a cousin of Mrs. Chris Struve of this city.
