Funeral services for 77 year old Leona Ackerman were held on Monday, December 17. Miss Ackerman died in the Blair Memorial Hospital on Thursday, December 13th.

Leona Ackerman was born at Herman, Nebraska on October 30, 1902. She was a homemaker all her life and lived at 123 South 23rd Street in Blair.

Services were at 10 a.m. at the St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair. Father Daniel Galas officiated with burial in the Holy Cross Cemetery at Blair. Campbell Funeral Home was in charge of arangements

She is survived by one sister, Alma Ackerman of Blair.

Pallbearers were: Henry Lammers, Leonard Petersen, Etlar Olsen, A.I. Magill, Harold Misfeldt, and Willard Warrick.
