WM. DICKMEYER DIES AT HOSPITAL

William Dickmeyer, 69, died on Friday, November 17th, at the Dodge County Hospital in Fremont following a short illness resulting from a stroke.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fred Smith, and at 2 p.m. at the St. Paul’s Lutheran church north of Arlington. Rev. Hellmann officiated, and burial was made in St. Paul’s cemetery.

Mr. Dickmeyer was born and raised in the Arlington vicinity, and had been a farmer until the last two years when he made his home with Mrs. Smith.

Deceased is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Herbert Echtenkamp, and one grandchild, in addition to four brothers, Louis, John and Henry Dickmeyer of Arlington, and Fred Dickmeyer of Blair, and a sister, Mrs. Minnie Laaker of Fremont.
