MRS. H. HACKBARTH RITES HELD SUNDAY

ARLINGTON - Funeral services for Mrs. Herman Hackbarth, who passed away at her home on Wednesday following an illness of several years’ duration, were held on Sunday afternoon at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at two o’clock with the pastor, Rev. Carl Hellmann, in charge. A brief service preceded at the home at one thirty.

As Alma Ann Struve, the deceased was born at Deshler on September 16, 1898 where she grew to womanhood, and was later married to Herman Hackbarth.

The family moved here a number of years ago, and during her life here Mrs. Hackbarth took part in the church affairs of the Lutheran Church and made many friends.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Hackbarth is survived by two daughters, Mrs. J. E. Carver of Omaha and Mrs. J. W. Arnold of Chicago; one son, Sgt. Vernon Hackbarth of Herrington, Kansas; two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. William Wilkening of Deshler and Mrs. Herman Meisner of Sedalia, Missouri; and two brothers, H. C. and T. S. Struve of Deshler.

Interment was made in St. Paul’s Lutheran cemetery.
