FRANK THOMPSON BURIED SATURDAY

Frank Thompson, a former Blair man, passed away at his home at Seneca, Nebraska, on October 5th, and the body was brought to Blair for interment last Saturday. The funeral services are held in the Baptist church of which he was a member.

Frank was born in Iowa on December 8, 1869, and came to Blair when but a boy where he grew to manhood and received his education in the Blair schools. By trade he was a collar maker.

When he went west something like forty years ago, he took a homestead and developed it into a ranch. He followed the ranching business until 1934 when he retired, spending part of his time after that with his son, Merton and wife, and in a hotel in Broken Bow.

He leaves the son and wife and three grandchildren to mourn his passing.
