Services were held Saturday, December 10, at First Methodist Church in Fremont for LaVerne H. Fuhrer, 65, who died December 7, 1983, in an Omaha hospital.

The Rev. Merle Zook officiated. Burial was in Memorial Cemetery.

LaVerne H. Fuhrer was born November 6, 1918, in Randolph. She moved to Fremont in 1956 from Butte.

She was a member of the Methodist Church and Memorial Hospital of Dodge County Auxiliary.

She married Walter Fuhrer at Neligh on December 8, 1938. He survives.

Other survivors include one daughter, Mrs. David (Ramona) Norris, Idaho Falls, Idaho; and one son, Ronald Fuhrer, Nickeson. One sister, Mrs. Marion (Loraine) Mohr, Butte; two brothers, Donald Fish, Hot Springs, South Dakota, and Dan Fish, Lakewood, California; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson also survive her.

A memorial has been established to the American Cancer Society.

Lattin-Dugan-Chambers Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
