HARRY C. SCHMIDT IS DEATH VICTIM

ARLINGTON - Harry C. Schmidt, aged 44, a prominent farmer of the Arlington vicinity, passed away early Tuesday morning, August 15th, at the Dodge County Hospital where he had been taken on Sunday. Mr. Schmidt had not been feeling well for the past six weeks, but had not been regarded as being seriously ill until a few days ago.

A son of Mr. and Mrs. George Schmidt (the latter now deceased), he was born here on February 14, 1900, and resided here his entire life, where he held the respect and esteem of all who knew him. He was married to Ella Walkenhorst on August 22, 1928, and to this union was born one daughter, June, who with his widow, survives him.

Also surviving are his father, George Schmidt; one brother, Leo F. Schmidt; and one sister, Mrs. Emil Just, all of this place.

Funeral arrangements are in charge of Wm. Reckmeyer & Son, and services will be held on Friday afternoon at 1:30 at the home.
