MRS. ANNA L. JENNINGS RITES HELD TUESDAY

Anna L. Jennings was born April 8, 1872 in Harrisville, West Virginia. She was the daughter of H. P. and Mary S. Miller, and came to Nebraska as a girl of ten in 1882 where she spent her early years on a farm in DeSoto, Washington County. She was married to Augustus F. Jennings on June 11, 1892, and spent most of her life in Omaha.

To this union six children were born, two surviving: Margaret Wilfong of Lincoln and Robert H. Jennings of Detroit.

Of the eight children of the late Mary S. Miller, she was preceded in death only by Veronica L. Guyer, the remaining family being Grant Miller, Wichita, Kansas; Harry Miller, Detroit, Michigan; Fred Miller, Portland, Oregon; Mrs. Nellie Alexander, Brooklyn, New York; Mrs. Carrie E. Gantz of Omaha and Mrs. Maude Hartley of Oakland, California.

Deceased leaves besides her immediate family four grandchildren and two great grandchildren and a host of friends.

Mrs. Jennings passed away quietly at her home at 328 East Lincoln Street, Blair, Nebraska July 9, 1944. Funeral services were held at the Bendorf Funeral Parlors at two o’clock July 11, and interment made in Forrest Lawn Cemetery in Omaha.
