Emil C. Fuhrman, 81, died Wednesday, January 27, 1993, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair. There will be no services.

Emil C. Fuhrman was born June 9, 1911, at Fort Calhoun to Henry and Albertina Lobs Fuhrman. He attended Fort Calhoun Schools.

He married Viva Nielsen June 9, 1945, in South Wales, England.

He retired from carpentering in 1973, having worked for Larsen and Jipp Construction.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and two brothers.

He is survived by his wife, Viva; a daughter, Shirley Kerstetter of Blair; a son David, Moorhead, Minnesota; two grandchildren, Brent Kerstetter and Holly Cooley and one brother, Rudy Fuhrman of Herman.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge.
