OTTO W. NELSON FUNERAL SATURDAY

Otto William Nelson, born at Blair, Nebraska August 6, 1889, departed from this life after a short illness March 21, 1944, at the age of 54 years, 8 months and 15 days, in the home of his sister, Mrs. John Gibbs, Sioux City, Iowa.

In the year of 1917 he was united in marriage to Minnie Erickson of Blair, Nebraska, and to this union one daughter, Dorothy Elizabeth, was born. His wife preceded him in death in the year 1925.

Later he moved to Newcastle, Nebraska, and operated a cream station and harness and shoe shop.

In April, 1933, he was married to Lavina Breisch of Newcastle, Nebraska, and they have made their home in Newcastle until the time of his death.

He leaves to mourn his death his widow, Lavina; one daughter, Dorothy Elizabeth Nelson of Sioux City, Iowa; his mother, Mrs. Johanna Nelson of Allen, Nebraska; five brothers: Harry of Blair, Nebraska; Algot and Elmer of Winnebago, Nebraska; Lester of Sioux City, Iowa; and Elvin of Allen, Nebraska; also two sisters: Mrs. Minnie Gibbs and Mrs. Lillie Cardwell, both of Sioux City, Iowa. His father, one brother, Oscar, and one sister, Ellen, preceded him in death.
