HENRY GEHRK, FARMER, DIED WED.

Henry Gehrk, a native of this county, was born November 12, 1885, on a farm south of Kennard where he grew to manhood. He was married in 1912 to Katie Micheel of Kennard who died in August of 1915, leaving a baby son, who passed away at the age of four months.

In 1919 he married Hilda Lund of Kennard, and for several years they resided on a farm south of Kennard. In 1926 they moved to Fremont where they resided until 1937 when they returned to Kennard. Later they moved to Tekamah where they resided for four years. In March of 1943 they moved to a farm north of Kennard where he was residing at the time of his death.

He leaves to mourn him his wife and two children, Marjorie of Omaha and Harvey at home, also two brothers and five sisters.

Funeral services will be held at the Bendorf funeral Home at 2 o’clock p.m. on Friday, March 10th, and interment will be made in the German cemetery.
