MRS. G. METZLER DIED HERE WED.

Mrs. Gertie Metzler, 58, and a Blair resident for the past ten years, passed away at the Blair hospital early yesterday morning. Services for Mrs. Metzler have been set for 2 o’clock p.m. on Saturday at the Methodist church in Tekamah.

Mrs. Metzler, who had lived here since the death of her husband, Jonas about ten years ago, was born in Iowa and had spent most of her life in the Tekamah vicinity. She was the mother of 14 children, nine boys and five girls, all of whom survive. She also had 30 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Sons living in the vicinity of Herman and Tekamah are Oliver, Addison, Earl, George, James, and Calvin. Harold and Glenn reside in Omaha and Ernest lives at Cumings, Iowa. Daughters are: Mrs. Alvin Bohaden of Craig; Mrs. Milford Campbell, Mrs. James Daniels and Mrs. Harvey Selling of Blair and another daughter, Erna.
