BLAIR NATIVE DIES IN CALIF.

Word reached Blair this week of the death of Jay M. French who died February 9th at Los Angeles, California.

Deceased was born in Blair and was reared to young manhood here. The family home was just west of the West School building, and was torn down just recently to make room for the new addition recently erected there.

The family moved to California something like forty five years ago where both the parents died.

At the funeral rites which were held on February 15th, Rev. Walter Bradley, another Blair native and a cousin of the deceased, officiated.

Of the family of three children, Adella, Jay and Ray, the latter is the only surviving member.
