MRS. JOHANNA KAY DIES AT NEARLY 92 YEARS OF AGE

Mrs. Johanna Kay died at her home at Irvington Monday on February 7, 1944. She was a resident of Washington County for 63 years; passing away at the age of 91 years, 9 months and 28 days. She leaves to mourn her death two sons, Carl and William, both of Irvington, also 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the First Lutheran Church at Calhoun, and were in charge of Rev. Jackson. Interment was made in the German cemetery in the southern part of this county, and the pallbearers were Hans Kay, Jr., William Kay, Edgar Heldt, Don Lauritsen, Herman Kay and Reuben Kay.
