MRS. C. CHRISTENSEN DEATH VICTIM

Mrs. Charles Christensen, living in the southern portion of the county, was the victim of a heart attack on Sunday, February 6th. The end came suddenly and was a surprise to all her family.

Deceased was born and reared in Washington County, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Steffen. She was educated in the district school and on Nov. 29, 1916 she was married to Chas. Christensen. To them two children were born Christian, who is now in the armed forces and stationed at Scottsfield, Ill., and one daughter, Mrs. Antone Matsen, who with her husband, is stationed at Camp Hood, Texas.

Besides these children and the husband, she leaves two sisters, Mrs. Harry Fedde and Mrs. Emma Nelson, both of Bennington.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, February 9th, at the Hadan Mortuary in Bennington, and interment was made in the German cemetery.
