MRS. F. DORNACKER RITES LAST SUNDAY

Funeral rites were held last Sunday at the First Methodist church in Blair for Mrs. Fred Dornacker of Kennard. Rev. E. P. Booher, former Methodist minister of Kennard officiated, and interment was made in the Blair cemetery with J. E. Campbell, mortician, in charge.

As Maggie Meta Thompson she was born at Millard, Nebr. on May 25th, 1887 where she grew to maturity. She was married to Fred Dornacker on March 16, 1904 at Tekamah with Rev. A. J. Markley performing the ceremony. For a time they resided near Tekamah, and then moved to a farm near Arlington. Since 1913 Mr. and Mrs. Dornacker have lived in the Kennard vicinity where Mrs. Dornacker was held in the highest esteem by her neighbors and friends.

She has been ill since last November, and every care that loving hands could give were hers, but to no avail, and she passed away at the Fremont hospital. For a time she rallied and her family had hopes of her complete recovery, but on January 7th she returned to the hospital.

She leaves to mourn her a daughter, Mrs. Andrew Sorensen of Kennard; two sons, Louis of Kennard and Frederick of Blair; and the bereaved husband of the immediate family and her mother, Mrs. Margaretha Thompson and a sister, Mrs. Harry V. Pipher of Sterling, Colorado and three grandchildren.
