HENRY FUHRMAN PASSES AWAY

Henry Fuhrman passed away January 7th at an Omaha hospital. He was born in Germany on April 24, 1874, and when 17 years of age he came to the United States. He lived for 48 years on his farm just west of Fort Calhoun until his death. He was married to Albertina Labs October 10, 1899.

Besides his widow he is survived by four sons, Sgt. Emil Fuhrman, Otto, now in overseas army service, Rudolph and Herman who are both at home, two daughters, Mrs. Wm. Prochnow of Fort Calhoun and Mrs. Albert Christensen of Herman. Also surviving are a brother and six grandchildren.

The funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian church. The Rev. Burroughs of Omaha was the officiating minister, and burial was made in the Calhoun cemetery.
