OTTO LISCHE DIED THIS MORNING

Otto Liesche, a farmer living southeast of Arlington, passed away with a heart attack at six o’clock Thursday morning. He was 63 years of age, and had been an invalid for around twenty years.

Deceased leaves to mourn his death his widow, who was formerly Miss Minnie Jungbluth; two daughters, Mesdames Louis Petersen and Melvin Nielsen, both of Omaha; and two sons, Clifford of Arlington and Glen, living in Omaha. Another son, Frank, preceded his father in death a few years ago.

No arrangements have been made for the funeral, and a complete obituary will be given next week.

OTTO LIESCHE RITES SUNDAY

Funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the Methodist church in Elk City, with the Rev. Goede of Omaha officiating.

Mr. Liesche was born in Jeßnitz, Germany, on February 22, 1880, and died on November 4th at his home following an illness of about 20 years.

Mrs. Otto Renard and Therlo Reckmeyer sang two duets, “In The Garden” and “Beautiful Isle of Somewhere”, with Mrs. Beryl Morris as their accompanist.

Pallbearers were William Peters, Charles Peters, William Jefferson, Walter Brown, John Crink and Charles Shoemaker.

Interment was made in the Elk City cemetery.
